As disasters continue to disrupt and displace our planet’s population, it’s clear that there is no greater priority than to enable and assist countries in developing an effective, efficient approach to disaster response for their people. By prioritizing the greater good across the globe, we can change the way we approach disaster and minimize loss on a global scale.
Prometheus strives to build and sustain disaster response plans in order to help countries protect themselves against, respond to, and recover from natural disasters. We do so by helping countries grow more connected as a community, harness the innovative power of proprietary technology, and prepare in a comprehensive way before disaster strikes. Using this approach, we can inspire confidence ahead of chaos and remove opportunities for error in response.
Prometheus is proud to be working towards building a prominent network of professionals that are connected through a global network. Established to help strengthen the connection between government, non-profit, and commercial entities in the disaster response space, this network will cover most land masses and nations across the globe. Among other things, this will allow us to ensure that people, software, and disaster preparedness programs are interwoven throughout government planning and university curriculums.
These connections will allow us to bridge the gap between nations and bring together the talents of people from all walks of life, benefitting the global population before, during, and after disaster.

While our leadership teams seek out new philosophies, information, and knowledge in order to approach problems differently, our research teams zero in on the latest and greatest studies and findings in order to harness new ideologies quickly. Simultaneously, we’re continuously monitoring – and driving – advancements in technology in order to build tools and resources that not only help nations survive, but thrive. At the same time, we need to be mindful of designing solutions that work under local conditions, even if it means limited technology.
We aim to help nations expect the unexpected, enabling them to adequately prepare for disaster that was previously believed to be unpredictable and catastrophic. When disaster strikes, we know what it takes to help communities stay one step ahead of the curve, saving lives – and billions of dollars in emergency funds – in the process.
By developing and implementing regional training centers, we can create regional hubs for disaster response personnel and equipment where nations can share the costs of disaster preparation. In turn, communities are able to plan, inform, and respond quickly and effectively as soon as they’re aware of impending disaster.
We can’t control the weather, after all. So, our approach is as much about readiness as it is the response. Prometheus strives to put people at the heart of what we do, and in the process, we aim to save lives, money, infrastructure, and optimism in the face of shifting weather patterns, increased natural disaster occurrences, and unpredictable climate changes.
